ABOUT THE UCM GUARD
Founded in 2013, the University of Central Missouri Winter Guard quickly established itself as a competitive force on the national stage. Since its inception, the program has earned multiple Semi-Finalist finishes at the Winter Guard International World Championships. In 2014, the team achieved a historic milestone—ranking 3rd in the world.
The UCM Guard program includes both a Fall Color Guard and a competitive Winter Guard. The Fall Guard is a vital part of the UCM Marching Mules, performing at all home football games and delivering dynamic, crowd-pleasing halftime entertainment.
During the winter season, the UCM Winter Guard competes locally in the Mid Continent Color Guard Association circuit and nationally with Winter Guard International. The program has represented UCM at WGI Regionals and the WGI World Championships, continuing its tradition of excellence, innovation, and competitive success.
